I walked into store 5:38pm on 7 feb to cuba mall dr. martens store and put my credit card on the desk as i knew what shoe i wanted. tried on 2 sizes. then went to the counter to purchase and shop attendant was pulling in sign and organising shoes. Then she looked at me blankly and said "do you want to buy these". I said "yes" and she said " my till is CLOSED". I said that can't be possible : You are open to 6pm." (It was only 5:48 pm.) She said" sorry I can't reopen it, there is nothing I can do". I said" what? Well why at you open then? she said, " it's just for browsing, the till closed automatically at 5:45 pm. I left floored. She clearly just wanted to walk out the door at 6pm. Horrible customer service!

Went to exchange some boots bought as a Christmas present. Three people behind the desk and no customers. Was told because it was Boxing Day they were not doing exchanges? Id need to return tomorrow???

What an absolutely amazing shopping experience, the super friendly groovy chick who served us is a fountain of knowledge about Dr.Martens, talked us through how to care for the shoes, how to break them in etc... she is unreal, thank you so much for helping my daughter, 100% recommended to all.

I had such an amazing time shopping here! I am not from Wellington and was only here for a few days. But this store was amazing I made sure to go each day I was here. The customer service was just phenomenal! I got serviced by Lazarus, and it was just amazing. So friendly and just amazing to chat with! They helped me find which ones I wanted and gave me such good advice and information on them which is always so much appreciated. One of there recommendations being the double line socks which are so amazing I had to go back and get more with some laces. Next time I am in Wellington I will definitely come again!

Bad customer service experience - I asked the lady who was working there on Monday for a size in these shoes that were across the room. She followed me to them and as I picked up the shoe to ask for my size she starts talking to her co-worker and has a full on conversation with them, and I was standing there holding the pair of shoes like uh hello?? she didn't say sorry or anything just continued talking to them until they left. Which lasted a few minutes. It was very rude and uncomfortable and as someone who has worked in retail before - usually/always the customers come first and chats with co workers after, its not that hard to do. Anyway when she finally stopped the convo, the lil lady didn't even apologise just continued wherever we left off and asked what shoe size I wanted. BUT ANYWHOOO shant be going back in there. (Plz hire staff who have a good sense of what good customer experience is)
