James Cook Arcade Shoe Repairs

Great cobbler. Was travelling through Wellington and shoes were repaired over weekend and ready for me to pick up on Monday morning. Sole was stitched as well as glued. Great job.

Excellent service, I told the guy I was in a hurry, cause I was leaving town and he fixed my shoes right away, and even sent me a text message to let me know the shoes were ready!

I was washing my shoes at the weekend, and I realised that the only reason these shoes didn't go in the bin a year ago, is because of the repair work done at this shop. The back of the shoe where your achilles/heel sits (don't know the technical term) had worn away to the point of not being able to walk in them. This chap stitched a piece of leather to the back of them, and job done. It's given these sneakers years of additional life, not to mention saved them from landfill. I realised that, at the time, I failed to give this shop the kudos it clearly deserves! So here it is.

Beat cobbler I have found in Wellington. Repaired my shoes while I waited barefoot when they broke on the way to work. Always very high quality and tidy work, better than when the shoes were new.
