Local Doctors - Dannemora

Do NOT come to local drs if you have a health condition or actually want help. I was ignored for years by multiple of their drs, from Dannemora and kolmar road clinic. I ended up going to their provided counseling (starcare clinic) to help me with the mistreatment of their drs. Even the counselor was apologizing for the drs behavior, she also stated she didn't understand why they don't listen to me. Turns out i was right and have multiple things wrong. They ignored me and told me i had panic disorder , their way of fixing it was to give me 9 different anti depressants over 4 years and pump lorazapam in me. Finally i left and got a dr who listens and actually does her job. If you are going for woman's health issues please don't go there ! The drs have absolutely NO knowledge when it comes to gynecological issues. One even told me i could have laparoscopic surgery on my bowels and pelvic area while i was awake. One also lied in her referral to the gynecology clinic(by not putting ANY information in the referral so it was declined. ). ..the clinic emailed me and asked why my Dr sent it through with no information.) Now i am left with Central sensitization syndrome for the rest of my life from these drs neglecting my health needs.I have proof of everything the drs and physiologist emails that were sent to me throughout this whole ordeal. I kept every single one. I will end with " DO NOT go to Local Dr's if you are there for woman's health. They will pump pills into you and tell you to loose weight. Its there base code , they aren't their to help they are there to make money. Hence the 3 hour waiting times.

Rang call centre which is dodgy in itself. I asked to be put through to reception at Dannemora and she said I can help you. You do t need to be put through to reception. Oh great I said. Got this lady who was a know it all. I asked if a repeat prescription which could be sent to another pharmacy as our car was getting fixed and we could go to one right by us which was walking distance. No you cant do that was her answer and I said um yes you can cause I've done this with my own medicine. Adjed what medicine my son was on. They know at te option bot at call centre. Being a nosy tart in my opinion. Oh I'll put you through to reception now then she said. They were helpful once I got through. Cheap doctors but terrible wait times communication. The lady doctor is the best there and very caring
