        My Phonak CROSS hearing aids amazingly survived a half hour Lake Tarawera swim with zero moisture seepage and no damage. Phonak's NZ service has exceeded all my expectations. I was able to access the company's technical support team even though it was a public holiday and get the help I needed. They also gave my hearing aids a full same day check over when I returned from Lake Tarawera, at no charge.

        I have a pair of Phonak high end hearing aids purchased through Triton. There have been several issues with these aids which Phonak has repaired under warranty. Another issue arose only several weeks outside the warranty period which required extensive replacement of parts. Phonak refused to cover this repair and furnished me with an extensive repair bill. This was not associated in any way to mistreatment or lack of care on my part but a failure of the parts to cope with environmental conditions. Amy future hearing aids I require will be sourced through Triton but will not be manufactured by Phonak.
