I had a terrible experience at Westpac Bank today while trying to open a joint account with my partner. The bank assistant assigned to us was 20 minutes late for our appointment and didn't even apologize for keeping us waiting. To make matters worse, he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful throughout our interaction. I hope the bank takes action to improve the quality of customer service at this branch and properly trains their staff on how to provide excellent customer service. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience and I do not recommend this bank.

Xin Tan is the best! As an international student, Im a little bit concerned about opening an account. But Xin Tan did me an enormous favor with helping me to book an appointment ASAP and providing great service in Chinese, which saved me a lot of efforts. After successfully opening an account, she told me that I can email her if I have any questions. And she did answer all of my questions and provided the information I need to apply my IRD number in a short time! Really appreciate her big help

I just opened my bank account in Westpac. Haroon was amazing taking his break time to help me out and open an account for me. He told me about how to used the card and what options I have for insurances or credit cards. However, the bank ask for to many papers and information to open the account. Hopefully all the services in the future can be as good as the first day opening the account. Thank you.

Went to Westpac to get a home loan and believe it or not we had trouble communicating with their staff in English. Every step of the process we have to explain to her our situation several times before she picks up what we're trying to say. Near the end we were fed up and went to another branch to seek advice. Then she heard about it from her 'colleages' and gave me a call seemingly to harass me about it(?). That was so weird, unprofessional, and made me feel so insecure about the company, so I withdrew the application with Westpac all together. Total waste of time and $$money as they made us do a RV for the House early in the process.
