Different place to stay in, but was a great place to stay. A very nice manager, who I got off on the wrong foot, but that due to travelling all day. A very accommodating manager and met some great people at the backpackers. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something cheap and close to amenities, and possibly don't mind sharing a room with about 5 other people.

I used my own sheets, but the duvet (and everywhere, honestly) was full of bed bugs and other kind of bugs, of all sizes. Of course I spent just one night there. The hostel was pretty quiet, just the regular people living there long term. $33 the night plus $25 for the key (just as a bond). The staff was super friendly, but I wouldnt recommend to stay there if you dont like bugs crawling around you.

Safety: All guests are given a key and the main door is locked at 7pm. No visitors allowed at all. Very safe. Walkability: 500 m Or less from the water front. 100 from the Bus stand Food & drinks: Right opposite one of the best pubs in town. The street is full of exotic Resteraunts - thai, Chinese, Turkish, Korean and heaps of pubs all a stones throw away.
