I recommend riding the loop because the ride up the Motu road early morning is magnificent.

The hut is just a hunters hut with about 6 bunks and a fire - not exactly lavish. But the tramp is pretty cool. Takes a bit over 2 hours at a decent walking pace.

Enjoyed the walk up to the look out, the trees have been cut for a better view of Gisborne. Definately recommended, very family friendly too!

great for bmx as well as skateboards as the features have less a aggressive radius and are higher than most parks I have visited.

Great spot, been itching to get here for a while. Fished hard and landed some good fish! Highly recommended!

A bare sports park with carpark where I entered. Took dogs along one end. Nothing to see except backyards. There's another entrance opposite.

Pool is empty and place looks deserted however we found the walk to the waterfall. Not too difficult for age 60+

Nice shortwalk. 10/15 walk to the top. Steep but easy. Would be nice a bit of maintenance though. Amazing views from the top.
