Great quiet motel overlooking Opua. Fantastic friendly owners who are only too happy to recommend local places to see and do. Rooms: Clean and up to date rooms.

Lovely location, a skip and a jump toward the ferry but still on the nain road. The room was very dark upon arrival, located on the ground floor opposite the carport. Staff had advised us where to locate the key as no one was around upon arrival. Instructions were super clear. Has everything you could ask fot in a short stay. Bed was comfy, we were allowed to bring our dog which was a bonus. Tea and coffee etc and enough crockery for the takeaways we brought. There was however a downside hence a star being knocked off the total. The shower! The lip around the floor was too shallow and despite putting down a bath mat, the shower was too slow to drain. As a result the bathroom became a mini paddling pool. In the end, I had to use several towels to mop it all up. Tip to anyone staying. Don't leave the shower running. Apart from that was super clean. Not sure of Boutique in the name. I'd probably remove that.
