We stayed in unit I. Entire place smelled like mold in the common areas and throughout. The units are like small houses, shaped as a rectangle, with the bedrooms all on the one side, and the kitchen, lounge and bathroom on the other side. Our bedroom was one of the two bedrooms off the lounge. There was a big gap on three of the four sides of our bedroom door, which meant we could hear absolutely any and all sound from the lounge. The bedroom literally consisted of beds, a rubbish bin, and a rack to hang clothes, not even a bedside table or a lamp. The couches in the lounge were so stained, i felt like being in the same room as them, i could catch a disease. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold everywhere. And there was only one toilet and one shower (all in the same room) for all the bedrooms in the unit to share. Most backpackers i have stayed in generally have two showers, and two toilets all seperate I have stayed in cheaper backpackers in Queenstown which were far cleaner. All in all, the only thing going for this place is the location.

Convenient stay as we leave our rental car at the lodge. Parking is hard to find at the CBD area. Got to walk 15-20mins to CBD. Not a pleasure to stay due to: 1. Weak WiFi that is no point to connect as unable to provide usage. 2. Electric Cooker unable to bring a pot of water to a boil! We purposely booked Unit with kitchen as we intend to light cook. We are assigned unit #9 3. Gravel walkway to unit, we are having combine 70kg luggage. Unable to push luggage to the unit, lucky my small rental car managed to squeeze and minimise the distance for me to lift my luggage to the unit. 4. Aircon filter were caked up! I have to clean it so that the heater function of the Aircon can perform properly. 5. The toilet basin was so small that I had challenge brushing my teeth without causing the floor to be wet. We expect better service and accommodation for the money paid. You can do better!
