Azur Lodge is magical. It is the best experience my husband and I have ever had at a lodging place. From the wonderful welcome and welcome drink to the leaving card and gift to remind you of Azur it is very special. The individual lodges are amazing huge comfy bed, bay window with a view of Wakapitu lake and the mountains, an outside terrace, snacks and drinks and a bath tub with a view of the lake. Every want of the traveller has been carefully thought about. Staff are very attentive and friendly even giving lifts to and from Queenstown as parking is tricky. Afternoon tea, canaps and lovely wines just round off a perfect stay. On our last night Azur organised dinner from a local restaurant and the staff brought it to our lodge with silverware and candles. All served in proper crockery. We were truly sorry to leave. No affiliation with Azur at all just very very happy customers.

I have not stayed there but have picked up clients from there as a guide. From my inquiries about the place, I have found nothing but glowing reports. With a full service staff, even dropping them off and picking them up from town for dinner. One couple ordered Ferg Burgers and it was set up in their room for them with candles and wine. Keep up the good work and make us locals proud.
