        Bank may be ok and local staff may be ok but 0800 VERY unhelpful, enough to put you off opening an account. They need to get their act together. Also very inefficient with long waits.

        At one point SBS was the best in the business, with strong customer focus and personable staff. My most recent experiences have been problematic at best. Front of house staff need much better training and online 'services' need dramatic improvement. Something has gone wrong as SBS has grown(!) and there are now other small providers offering more accessible and personalised service.
