Cabot Lodge

Rooms: The deluxe room was just divine - luxury linen and snuggly wool throws, a great mini bar, freshly baked cookies, gorgeous fireplace and simply breathtaking view bathroom was perfect (and beautiful warm). We could have happily stayed there for many more days. Food & drinks: Absolutely excellent - it will start with enticing canaps, youll enjoy fabulous local produce for dinner, and be recommended great wines to pair with your meal and breakfast is another amazing food experience (and the honey is a must try!)

Rooms: Rooms were spacious and the king-size bed was luxurious. Beautiful coffee table books describing the area and highlighting famous artists who have photographed the area for years. Everything was top quality. Nearby activities: There is so much to see and do in this location that it is hard to say where to start. Tons of walks around here. Lake Manapouri and Lake TeAnau so close you could walk to them, if walking is your thing. Food & drinks: Brad and Breidi serve up top class meals. Lots of treats like fresh-baked cookies, hors doeuvres with drinks before dinner and fruit bowl kept full in the unit. Cooked breakfast available as well as a large variety of cereals etc. Excellent selection of New Zealand wines.

Cabot Lodge is an outstanding accommodation, with a genuine service level to match. Our small company hired the entire lodge for our group on a bespoke itinerary and everyone was enamoured. The location is stunning, with proximity to all the attractions of Fiordland National Park. The building itself is cozy, unique and full of character. Brad and Breidi offer genuine service, are fully attentive and take care of the details. The food is outstanding. We will be back for another experience. Thanks to the Cabot Lodge Team for a memorable stay.
