        Nearby activities: Plenty of easy walks and tramps. Kayaking and great boat trips avaliable Safety: Easy to supervise children all facilities very well maintained Walkability: Well marked and maintained tracks

        Obviously in a spectacular location. Facilities are one of the best DOCs Ive stayed at. Hundreds of walks to choose from and educational centre up the hill is worth a visit too. When we stayed people had used the campsite to store their boats and so all the tents were crammed in very close to each other. Two people pitched their tents almost crossing ropes with ours and we could hear them snoring all night. To me camping shouldnt be like this but it really felt tense with such a lack of space.
