Loved this Motel. Silus the manager is so nice, helpful and friendly. Great spot to stay Very vlean and tidy. Fabulous pools! Great location to the lake and the Two mile bay sailing club restaurant and bar. Pets welcome by arrangement. We will be back.

Worst motel in Taupo booked a room and was asked upstairs or downstairs. Got to room and all windows and doors open. In the middle of the night we woke up with the room stinking of dog. Told the manager in the morning and he didnt even apologise or offer a refund but said that they were a pet friendly motel. I asked why there was nothing advertised in reception as I dont live with pets in the house and my partner had an allergic reaction. He said that we should have complained at 12am that morning when we realised it was stinking. I said he would have been sleeping but he insisted that he couldnt do anything about it as we stayed the night . Worst motel in Taupo, it shows photos of motel on the lake front which is misleading, as it is not, only entrance to the walkway is on the lake front. Disgusting stunk of dog, hair all over the carpet , and the people upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants moving around the room
