The owners of Dunrovin Motel are very friendly and gave us great advice on where to eat and places to visit in taupo as my wife who is from new Zealand far north but lives in Australia now and my daughter & i are Australian the room we booked out for 2 days was very lovely and clean every time we came back from our outing thank you some much to the owners it's lovely to have friendly neighbours across the ditch . To who ever reads this review and is thinking of travelling to new Zealand if you are going to taupo i recommend you to stay in these lovely motels.

We booked as a last minute, late night booking due to a family situation. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for myself and my two mokopuna. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. There was a heat pump which was nice when we arrived at night to heat up the room and first thing in the morning. The hosts let us check out late which I much appreciated while waiting for my mokopunas dad to pick him up. I would like to one day soon return the hosts generosity when they visit my neck of the woods on the East Coast. Thank you both for having us.
