Got my credit card application approved at the end of November and was told it would take 7-10 days for it to be delivered. After 2 weeks, it never arrived and so I had to follow them up again. This branch arranged it to be delivered via urgent courier and that it would take up to 3 days delivery (at no cost, which was nice). However by day 3, it still hadn't arrived and when I chased them up again, I was told that it needed to be sent from Australia and that it would take an extra 2 business days but its not guaranteed, they said. This entire experience has been an absolute joke :(

I recently applied for a car loan with Westpac Newmarket and was lucky enough to have David Su help me with the process. I was blown away by how quickly and efficiently he was able to process my application - it only took 2 business days from start to finish! What really impressed me about David was his professionalism and attention to detail. He took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions, making sure that I fully understood the terms and conditions of the loan. Plus, I was thrilled to find out that Westpac offers one of the cheapest interest rates for car loans in the market, making it an even more attractive option. Three month ago, I was being told by a branch manger that I can not open an account with Westpac bank due to I was holding a visitor visa only valid for 3 month. The manager told me that they can open account for me if my visa valid for 6 month or above. Today I went back to the bank with my new visitor visa which is valid for 6 month. The staff in this bank told me that they do not open an account for a visitor visa holder at all no matter how long the visa is valid. I dont understand why I was being told and treated differently by the staff who works in the same bank. Maybe not being trained under the same rules , so I told them if you are not going to open an account for me could you please delete my information in your bank please as I am no longer a customer in your bank anymore and I dont want to keep my personal information in your system.But the answer I got from the bank staff is No ! I asked them the reasons why I can not delete my personal information to protect my own privacy. The staff told me there is no reason and thats the rule! I just feel I was being treated like a joke! Never go back again! Not recommend!
