This is a nice elevation spot at Marsland Hill, shares same parking and road as that of New Plymouth Observatory. Good ~360 views of town, mountain and port.

Really nice spot to visit great outlook of the city and area to picnic. Only a pity the memorial is not maintained

The Road there was an awful dusty pothole. And lake/river was dirty with no room for jet skiing let alone a boat. Not worth the trip Suggest lake taupo. Cheers.
